A great Sci-Fi flick where evolution is genetically engineered and perfect babies can be produced. Vincent (Ethan Hawke) is a less than
perfect "love child" who is is trying to achieve his dream of space travel, but the only way he can accomplish this is to assume the
identity of another human, Jerome (Jude Law), who has perfect genes but has been crippled by an accident. Jerome supplies him with blood
and urine samples regularly to fool the Big Brother authorities. The frequent DNA checking is a little intimidating, and when a murder is
committed Vincent is under suspicion, which makes his charade even more difficult. I found Vincent's relationship with a colleague, Irene
(Uma Thurman), a little frustrating and unresolved, but all in all, the movie is quite moving and thought provoking.
